photoSCHWEIZ Overview
photoSCHWEIZ is Switzerland's most important photography exhibition and a central meeting place for the Swiss photography scene. Annually, around 250 established and emerging photographers showcase their work, spanning professional image series to experimental concepts.

- Braschler Fischer: Featuring "DISPLACED," portraying people affected by climate change, and "DIVIDED WE STAND," a portrait series exploring the divide in the USA.
- Normski: "Man with the Golden Shutter" documents the early years of Hip-Hop and the birth of Techno.
- Iris Brosch: "Women for Peace," a visual manifesto inspired by ancient mythology including over 90 women from diverse cultures.
- AI & Future: "What The Fake?" explores AI-generated image manipulation on social media; "Near Futures" by ETH Zürich presents AI-generated B&W photography of future technologies.
- Special Formats: "Wortbilder? Bildworte!" combines literature and photography; "re:Human × orphic Morphosis" is a multisensory installation; "Directors Choice" highlights outstanding festival picks worldwide.
- Documentary & Social: "Afghanistan" by Mirjam Kluka; "Wild Foods x Sea Shepherd" on marine protection; "Die Sicht der Anderen" on the Tamil diaspora.
Program & Activities
The event features a supporting program with lectures, guided tours, workshops, and discussions. Additional features include the photoARTMARKET for selling prints and equipment, photoKIDS, photoDUELL, and portfolio reviews.
