L'80a conferenza ed esposizione annuale si terrà presso il DoubleTree Hilton Downtown Manchester da mercoledì 17 novembre a venerdì 19 novembre 2018. Il tema di quest'anno è "Progress Through Partnerships".
NHMA ha pianificato questo evento per mesi. Con l'incertezza sullo stato di COVID-19, portiamo la conferenza a membri e partecipanti utilizzando un formato ibrido, sia per comodità che per sicurezza.
Questo formato ibrido consentirà al DoubleTree Downtown Manchester di ospitare la prima giornata dal vivo di persona, mentre i flussi video delle sessioni più popolari saranno disponibili per i membri che scelgono di partecipare virtualmente. Lo streaming virtuale delle sessioni didattiche si svolgerà giovedì per un'intera giornata, mentre lo streaming remoto avrà luogo venerdì per mezza giornata.
Why the new hybrid format? We know that many municipal officials, as well as exhibitors, are eager to meet again in person after a virtual meeting. We also know that certain officials and exhibitors might be reluctant to attend the event in person because of the uncertainty about what will happen in November. With this new format, NHMA can provide high-quality training to members and exhibitor who want to attend in person. They can also participate virtually, from their office or home.
