Short Run (Short Run Comix Festival) is Seattle's annual festival of small-press comics, zines, artist books, prints and animation, presenting independent cartoonists and micropresses from the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Alongside the one-day festival the organization runs an artist residency, micro-grants, an education program, a micropress store and a paid youth apprenticeship in comics making.

• Artist talks with iPad captioning and reserved front-row seating; satellite programming on Capitol Hill.
• Accessibility: gender-neutral restrooms on each floor, elevator access, large-print directional signage, free masks and hand sanitizer at the entrance, and a dedicated lactation/quiet space.
• Apprenticeship program for youth ages 15-19: paid, hands-on comics training culminating in mini-comics sold by the students at the festival.
